SESSION 6

Empowering Educators: The Impact of Coaching

SYNOPSIS

“Coaching Beyond Performance” augurs well with the theme “To invest in people, prioritize education” of the UNESCO International Education Day, which was celebrated on 24th January 2023. Coaching as an enabler in the teaching-learning process is an empowering tool for 3R “Rethink, Review, and Reenergize” Education to facilitate inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all. Educators, as coaches, are instrumental in transforming and prioritizing education as well as mobilizing and translating student-learning into action. These can move them towards achieving gender equality and breaking the cycle of poverty through education, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
